Amarnath yatra with Leh Tour 7Nights/ 8 Days

Day 01: Arrive Srinagar – Sonmarg

Arrive at Srinagar Airport and then drive to Sonmarg that is also called the meadow of gold. Then take rest at the Hotel and later you can explore the breathtaking Thajwas Glacier.

Day 02: Sonmarg - Baltal - Amarnath Cave - Baltal - Sonmarg

Early in the morning you can leave for Baltal and then proceed to the helipad after 5 to 10 minutes walk. Then take a Helicopter ride to Panchtarni and after that you need to trek or hire poonies from Panchtarni to Holy Amarnath Cave. Arrive there and do the Darshan and pooja. Then come back to Panchtarni and take a Helicopter to Baltal and then leave for Sonmarg.

Day 03: Sonmarg - Kargil

After having breakfast, you can leave for Kargil. On the way you can see the Drass Valley. On arrival, you can take rest at the hotel.

Day 04: Kargil – Leh

Have breakfast and then leave the Hotel and drive to Leh. On the way, you can visit Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, Sangam and Magnetic Point.

Day 05: Leh (Excursion to Monastries)

Have your breakfast and then you can enjoy full day excursion to Monastries. You can visit Shey, Hemis and Thiksey monasteries. Shey used to be the summer Palace of Ladakhi Kings. Here you can see the high statue of Buddha made of copper that is covered with gold. Thicksey is the twelve storied monastery and lies on an island Mountain. Hemis monastery is the farthest away from Leh and is said to be the wealthiest Monastery in Ladakh.

Day 06: Leh – Pangong Lake – Leh

You can have breakfast and then leave to visit the famous Pangong Lake, 4400 m east of Leh. You can reach here after crossing Chngla Pass that is at the height of 17500 ft. on the way you can also get to see the Durbuk and Tangtse villages in the Changthang region of Ladakh. It is perhaps one of the most amazing lakes in Asia which changes its color 4 – 5 times a day.

Day 07: Leh – Khardungla Top – Leh

Have your breakfast and then drive to Khardung la. It is the highest motorable road in the world at 18,390 ft. You can reach on the top of the pass and then can enjoy the amazing views. Return to the hotel for lunch and then after lunch you can enjoy shopping.

Day 08: Leh Departure

Have meal and then check your luggage and leave the hotel room to reach your home.
